On May 4, the SBA announced that the funding for the latest round of PPP has been exhausted. Wintrust is no longer accepting new applications. City of Chicago – Microbusiness Recovery Grant Program

Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) Chicago
A Small Business Rescue Fund to distribute loans to small businesses and nonprofit social enterprises for urgent needs, including operational costs like paying employees, vendors and rent.

  • Do not allow any new vendors, one off payments, or changes in vendor information without telephone verification of the information to the number you have on record.
  • Do not initiate movement of funds based on email-only requests, even if they appear to come from your “C-suite.”
  • Implement dual controls on payment initiation and approval, payment instruction changes, and account reconciliation.
  • Use your mobile phone to eliminate the need for a physical token.
