Job Title: Commercial Loan Admin. Assistant

Responsibilities:

The following is not intended to be all inclusive but rather a general representation of the basic duties.

  • Responsible for providing customer support for Middle Market Commercial Banking clients.
  • Manage Daily Overdrafts and assist loan officers with past dues, exceptions and other loan related issues.
  • Prepare new and renewal loan documentation requests. Involves gathering of information, requesting additional documentation and performing research depending on complexity. Help review documentation for accuracy and completeness. Responsible for closing of loans including funding, preparing file and documents for scanning into Treev
  • Process daily customer requests, such as stop payments, deposit inquiries, closing accounts, account opening facilitation, reprice LIBORS, processing loan payments and loan advances
  • Cross sell appropriate Treasury Products to the customer based on their needs.
  • Maintain open communication with the Bankers regarding customer issues
  • Order office supplies
  • Provide phone coverage for the department
  • Attorney contact for documentation preparation includes collecting needed information, review prepared docs, review final executed docs, and follow up for original docs, recordings, final title policies etc.
  • Work with Title Companies ordering title, review commitments, resolve issues to obtain “clean” final policies
  • Help in administering internal and external audits, by checking and verifying file information
  • Organize loan files and documents and provide duplicate copies when needed – to MAD, PAD, attorneys, appraisers, etc.
  • Heavy volume of customer calls –researching and resolving inquiries and problems.
  • Verify loans are booked on system correctly.
  • Complete all commercial Credit Verifications.
  • Work with other Wintrust Services to obtain Letters of Credit, wire transfers etc.
  • Follow established bank policies and procedures.
  • XAA Analysis
  • Various projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent banking experience
  • 2 – 3 years banking experience preferred in a Commercial Lending Environment
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work in a multi-task environment. Must be able to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

    Job Title: Operations Officer

    We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Lake Forest Bank team. The ideal candidate must have exceptional customer service skills, enjoy working in a team environment, be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment and adapt to the needs and environment of our busy branches.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Balancing daily reports
    • Review account maintenance
    • Process overdrafts, non-post, collections and adjustments
    • Review mobile deposits
    • Online banking support
    • Proof branch capture work
    • Receive and process all check adjustments, POD suspense posting, and proof differences.
    • Review and monitor Exception Items; High Dollar Exceptions
    • Receive and resolve Savings & Deposit Control corrections
    • Receive and process all ACH/EFT returns and reclamations
    • Monitor reports for clients using Positive Pay, ACH Origination and New Account applications on Business Internet Banking (BIB and Consumer Internet Banking (CIB)
    • Close accounts relating to debit card/bill pay
    • Monitor, review, and confirm validity of daily work folder, correcting where applicable
    • Data Entry – opening and closing accounts and other related maintenance
    • Reconcile monthly IOLTA accounts; prepare remittance to State agency
    • Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
    • Assure related documentation is compliant with applicable regulations
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned


    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • 2-3 years prior banking experience (previous operations experience preferred)
    • Working knowledge of computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook. Ability to learn other bank systems and software.
    • Customer service experience required
    • Ability to work independently
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
    • Experience working on FIS is helpful
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
    • Willingness to be flexible

    Job Title: Teller Supervisor

    Looking for someone with a strong dedication to quality customer service, strong leadership skills, ability to work independently and make sound decisions, and promote a team environment.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Perform typical teller duties
    • Meet teller standards, including balancing daily with minimal differences per established policy
    • Service clients in a courteous and professional manner, consistent with our community bank philosophy
    • Manage daily operations of teller line, promoting teamwork within the department
    • Coordinate weekly branch teller meetings
    • Train, coach and develop employees and provide regular performance feedback to enhance job performance
    • Manage teller schedule, prioritize work load and delegate responsibilities to ensure quality customer service
    • Effectively and tactfully resolve difficult or complex issues presented by customers, tellers or other staff
    • Order and ship currency for branch
    • Daily balancing of: tellers, ATM, vault and coin machine
    • Balancing of loan payments, TT&L payments and safe box payments
    • Verify cash when overages/shortages occur and assist tellers with balancing problems
    • Perform teller and branch audits
    • Order teller supplies
    • Ensure adherence to all bank policies, procedures and practices
    • Lead by example to implement a customer service culture
    • Other duties as assigned


    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Minimum Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred
    • Desired Skills: Ideal candidate will be customer-oriented and a team player. Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment multi-task are a must. Excellent analytical, customer service and communication (oral and written) skills. Working knowledge of banking laws and regulations, forms, documents, disclosures and bank policies / procedures as related to the teller department.
    • Experience: Two or more years of prior teller experience required as well as knowledge of all basic and specialized teller functions. Supervisory experience ideal. Applicant must be able to lift small amounts of coin and be flexible with working hours (available to work opening and/or closing shifts and Saturdays).
