David Bruskin joined Wayne Hummer Wealth Management in May 2003 and works with high net worth and institutional clients in areas of setting investment policy, asset allocation, and the implementation of investment strategies. Dave is located in the Wayne Hummer Wealth Management Branch at Lake Forest Bank & Trust and has more than fifteen years of experience in the securities industry, twelve of which have been spent serving families in the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff communities. As a registered investment advisor representative, he is able to provide his clients with brokerage, trust, asset management, and insurance services.
In 2002, Dave attended the Certified Investment Management Analyst Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is a member in good standing of the Investment Management Consultants Association. He has received his MBA from the Illinois Institute of Technology; and earned his Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University. Prior to joining Wayne Hummer Wealth Management, Dave worked for A.G. Edwards and Dean Witter Reynolds as a financial consultant.
Dave is married and has three children. He and his wife are currently involved in numerous charitable and fundraising events within Lake County.

Lou has been serving the investment needs of clients since 1988. Focusing on the affluent clients with sophisticated needs, providing a variety of financial solutions, with the use of individual managed accounts, estate planning, and wealth transfer. Lou's goal is to deliver these services with diligent research and manage client’s assets with principles that endure, research, hard work, passion and sincerity.
Lou holds a degree from Loyola University of Chicago, School of Business, where he majored in finance and minored in economics. He is on the Presidents Council for Federated Funds, a member of the Advisory Council for Pacific Life and an Elite Advisor member for AllianceBerstein funds. He is married with three children and spends much of his time with his family. Lou also donates his time to the American Stroke Association and the local food pantry.

Jeff Sweno has been serving the investment needs of clients since 1987. He has extensive knowledge of equity securities, portfolio design, asset allocation, and fixed income strategies. He takes pride in delivering a high level of customer service and being accessible when his clients need him most.
Jeff utilizes a team approach, with specialists in the areas of banking, trust services, asset management, insurance, and estate planning. His clients can expect comprehensive wealth management based on their current needs, future objectives, and tolerance for risk. Utilizing the full spectrum of investment solutions available through Wayne Hummer Wealth Management, Jeff develops durable financial strategies and tax-efficient portfolio management for high net worth individuals, families, and businesses.
Prior to joining Wayne Hummer, Jeff worked at Northern Trust Securities for more than 11 years after beginning his career at Merrill Lynch. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Jeff is married and has three children. He and his wife, Marcia, reside in Mundelein. Jeff enjoys golf and many other outdoor activities. He is actively involved with the baseball program at Mundelein High School.
